    2. John Harrower
    3. Hi Frank, Interesting - My name is John Harrower and our lot and it seems your lot are somehow connected. My family originated from a place called Alva Glen which is only 15 miles away from Kinross. There are still Harrowers in the town (Alva) which is at the start of the highlands. We have been there a number of times and the cemetery has quite a few Harrowers as permanent residents now. Your lot seems to have left earlier than ours as my grandfather was William Hutton Harrower 1892 to 1972 and we were told as kids that 2 families of 4 brothers headed off at the same time- 2 went to USA and 2 to Australia. There is another John Harrower that is an entertainer in Scotland (still performing) I will get you his details as he likes to chat to Harrowers. I have had "Harrower" relatives go to Alva and the locals love to meet and talk to overseas Harrowers and maybe able to help, just ring them as they are all very friendly and get a bit of a buzz from the Harrower passing parade.
