Hi List: I will try again, but my hopes are waning. My husband's grandfather, Robert Peyton Harrison/Peyton Robert Harrison, was killed in a levee accident in October 1888 in Vicksburg, MS. His wife was Hattie Louise Barnes Harrison. They had two children, Louise Harrison, b. ca 1882 and Robert Peyton Harrison born May 1886. When the older Peyton died, the children went to live with their grandmother, Eliza Nailor Barnes and then later with their aunt Elsie Barnes Hullum and her husband, Lewis Hullum. The newspaper account of the accident, said that Peyton came to Vicksburg "about 15 years ago from Greeneville, SC." Now, that is the sum of our knowledge about the Harrisons. Hattie Barnes Harrison was from Port Gibson, MS and I think we can find information on her, but Peyton is the most important right now. Can anyone help? Jean Harrison
