Hi All....In John Alcock's book "Five Generations of Burr Harrison" it seems he missed a child of WILLIAM BUTLER HARRISON born 11 Feb, 1759 Stafford Co. VA and married PENELOPE RUSSELL March 8, 1783. William died in Loudoun County VA 8Mar 1835. Alcock mentions children Harriot, Thomas Grayson, Juliet, William B. Jr. and Sarah Ann Amelia, Benjamin and Alfred. But not my ggg grandfather RUSSELL BUTLER HARRISON who married MARY ELIZA WAGENER (another Burr Harrison descendent) and lived in Fauquier Co and Loudoun Co. On the 1820 census they were in Loudoun Co but both were dead by 1841 and most likely 1837 by deed records. Proof of RUSSELL BUTLER HARRISON's relationship to WILLIAM BUTLER HARRISON lies in William's will dated 1835 Will book W page 54 for Loudoun County, VA. This oversight held me back for awhile and may be holding others back. I would love to hear from anyone about this family.
