Some Harrisons of Ohio were from the south and from Settlers by the Long Grey Trail Harrisons. Some of these were Methodists who were anti slavery. One such was Rev. Wasley Harrison from Augusta Co VA to Cocke Co. TN and on to Indiana and IL. A book has been done on his family. I found it in the library of Cocke County. Another is the John Harrison of the 1800 census of Buncombe and m to a Davis. Much wwork has been done on these Harrisons who moved to KY and dthen to Ohio. I think I recall an Isaiah Harrison of Ohio. I hacve no idea of a connectionbut probably is.
