Hello, I am looking for James Harrison who married Ruth Howell in Surry Co., N. C. in 1813. I found a James Harrison on the list of soldiers who fought in a group from Surry Co. in the War of 1812. They had a daughter named Emiza Ruth Harrison who married John Alexander Simmons. Does anyone have anything on this man? I have been looking for a while. There are lots of suggestions but nothing for sure. The same for Ruth Howell. She probably had a brother named James Howell. Who were their parents? Any information will be appreciated.
