I'm compiling a brief biography of Marcus La Rue HARRISON, for a reference book to be published in 2001, & I'm hoping someone on the list has heard of him. Marcus (b. 1829; d. 27 Oct 1890, in Washington, DC) was apparently married to Mollie. He served as a Union soldier in Illinois, Arkansas, & Missouri during the Civil War & lived in Washington, DC, from 1874 to 1890. Does Marcus sound familiar to anyone? I'm hoping to find out more about his parents & wife, as well as any children. I'd be grateful for any information anyone can give me, & will happily share the information I've found. Thanks.
