    1. [HARRISON] Caswell Co, NC Harrison Orphans, part one
    2. In 1782, James (age 17), Jere (14), Judith (9), & Johanna (4) Harrison were listed as orphans in Caswell Co, NC. James & Jere were apprenticed to James Stringer in Sept 1782 and Judith and Johanna were apprenticed to Hanna Kiles and Elizabeth Roberts respectively in Oct 1782. By 1787, James Stringer was in Wilkes Co, Ga where he bought land and James and Jeremiah Harrison showed up in the 1790s as taxpayers and (a little later) landowners in the same area. I would greatly appreciate any help regarding these orphans, especially relating to their parents/ancestry.
