Posted on: Harrison Queries Board URL: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/FamilyAssoc/Harrison?read=738 Surname: Harrison, Reed ------------------------- Hello Joyce, I am sorry but I can't help you on the Harrison or Reed family,The only ones that I know about is the Benjamin Harrison that married Alsebeth Reed,sometime before 1820 probably in VA.but I don't know this.They are stated as being Alcebeth-Alcey (Harrison)Coffman-Moore,parents when she married for the 3rd time to Adam Porter in 1882 in Carroll Co.IN.also they are stated as being her parents on her Death Record.So as you can see I don't have too much to go on.If I could just find the name of her sister that she came to Carroll Co.IN.with in 1831 according to her Obit this might solve a lot of questions. I know that Portsmouth,Sciota Co.Ohio is right across the River from Ky.so maybe they got married there,instead of VA.or OHio? If you ever find anymore information please keep me in mind.
