These failies are surrounded by Harrisons wit deed and wills. Jonathan McCarty --State Congressman from Indiana and fellow indian fighter with Wm H, Harrison at the battle of fallen timbers--married Desedmona Harrison, the daughter of Edmund--Edmund born in Rockingham Co., VA. All are burried in Ft. Wayne, Indiana. I can not for the life of me put these Harrisons together--but I believe Edmund is from one of the Long Grey Trail Lines. The McCartys are from the Shenandoah Valley of VA. James Stinson wa with John Sievers troop at the Battle of King's Mt. in North Carolina and received bounty land . So I have early Harrison names in that area . Wish I could be of more help.
