I have asked for information about my line before, but since I have recently found some additional family members, I'll submit my information again. I'm trying to locate information about John Harrison, Sr., was born in VA and died in Ohio while saving his son, John, Jr., from a falling tree. I believe John, Sr., married to Rachel Price of Butler Co. Ohio, but I'm not certain. John Jr's other siblings were Sarah (Married to William Leach - Grant County Indiana) and Louis/Lewis who was born around 1808 or 1810 and died in Grant County (Fairmount) Indiana. I just recently found out that Lewis was born in Kentucky - not Ohio- Lewis was married to Elizabeth Searle. My new information is that Elizabeth had been married before. ( I don't know of her maiden name yet). She brought two daughters to her marriage with Lewis, Julia Ann and Lucy. Julia married Washington Payne, then John P. Helton and finally Adam Parkhurst. Lewis and Elizabeth had the following children together: John S. D. who married Elma Templeton (my line) and Luther S. Harrison who married Sarah Richards and then Emma Ailes, Lewis Harrison, Jr., Elijah Harrison and Rachel Harrison, who married Henry DeShaun/Shong (all were born in Grant County, Indiana). According to papers in the Grant County Historical Society, this Harrison line is reportedly closely related to the Presidents William Henry and Benjamin Harrison, but it seems all Harrison's are loosely related to these two! If anyone has information about a John Harrison who had children named Sarah, John, Jr. or Lewis, or any connection to the other lines, please let me know. Thank you. Becky Harrison Zepf
