I have a copy of his application for a Rev. war penison. In this he wrote he was born 1755 in Culpepper co. Grow up in Anherst co. where he entered the service. He married Mary Penn 11/8/1780 daughter of George Penn and Sarah Lee. They had two sons and four daughters that I know of. My line is though there son John. He wrote he lived most of his live in Botetourt co in the part that became Rockbridge co. On the inter net they also have him married to Jenny Todd but she was married to his cousin James who was the son of William Harrison. Jame brother John did leaved in Franklin Tenn and had a son James.

Hello, I am searching for info on James Harrison who was born in th mid 1800's in Sewannee, Franklin County, TN. He is my greatgrandfather. Were you referring to a town named Franklin...or the County??
