Harrison born 1849 possibly in Alabama. Have heard that his father and a brother were killed in Civil War. He was left to care for his mother and one or two sisters after the War. He married Abby Elizabeth Sanderson in early 1870's. She also was from Alabama. Have found her family in Coffee County. After marriage they moved their family to Mississippi and lived for some time in different counties, Simpson and Wayne County being two counties that have been documented. There is a possibility that John is the son of James and Elizabeth Harrison of Georgia but I have no proof of that as of yet. If anyone can shed some light on this family, I would appreciate it.
