His name was Charles J. Harrison born somewhere in New York (this was from the 1880 Census of Refugio County, Texas in the township of Saint Mary's. It is showing him as a boatman from New York and his parents were from what I can read is Mass. I believe that he had one sister but do not know her name. From the 1890/1900 mortality schedule he died in Edna (Jackson County), Texas. Any information would be great. He had a son James John, daughter (Hattie and Mollie).
