He was a Methodist/Episcopal minister in Georgia from the 1850's through the 1890's. I have not been able to confirm the names of his wife/wives and children. His son, my husband's g-grandfather, disappeared after abandoning his 11 children in Texas in the early 1900's. I have been unable to establish a firm link to W. P. Harrison because of his son's disappearance though the grandchildren remembered their grandfather William Pope Harrison. It is recorded in the 1870 census that he was married to Elizabeth J.
