I found his name in the 1860 Arkansas census, listing his mother as Elizabeth (no father was listed). At that time, he was 16 years old. I have no idea who his father was and cannot find anything on him or Elizabeth in the 1850 census. It is possible that they came from Virginia or North Carolina. Can someone help? Also, can anyone tell me how to proceed from here since there was no male head of household listed. I really need to know who his father was. If it helps, I know that one of Reuben's sons was George M., who had a son named Earl (my grandfather). George and Earl are both buried in Lynnville, KY cemeteries. Thanks. Jan
