My great grandmother was Mary Fair Howell who married Jasper Miller in 1878. They lived in Charlotte/Mecklenburg, NC. Her family was from Essex County, NJ. Am trying to locate the Miller side.The Howells were my father's maternal grandparents. The Harrison side is on my father's side, paternal great-great grandparents: Mary Elizabeth Harrison married Rev. Thomas Marion Farrow (from Charlotte). Their daughter was the second wife of Josiah Asbury of Charlotte, her name was Molly (Mary Estel) Farrow Asbury. My paternal grandparents grew up in Charlotte in the early 1900's. I have brick walls w/ Jasper Miller and Rev. Thomas Marion Farrow. The Howells were related to the Wades and the Drakes of New England. Any help is appreciated. Maybe this may help you as well.
