We are tracing our family tree we know we are scottish Irish in decent, but can't seem to get back past my Great Great Grandfather Algernon Sidney Harrison. We believe he was born in about 1830 and lived in Alabama and Tennessee. he was a Confederate Soldier with the 26/50th Alabama Infantry. but we have little else before that. We know his wife's name was Catherine maiden name Carry.I just thought something might hit with you. We have always been told that we were Scottish-Irish but just can't get past the 1830's.
