Both were born in Sumter Co., Alabama. They had 16 children. Son, Lewis (Louis) Elbert Harrison, b. 1873 was my great grandfather. He married Mary Virginia Buckalew. John Dennis was a Baptist Preacher and Farmer. Died 1918 in Wayne Co., MS. Buried at Shirley Place Cemetery. I am looking for additional information on John Dennis. I think his father's name was Middleton Harrison, b. South Carolina.
