He would have been born in 1836. I found Samuel and Harriett Harrison in Cobb Co., 1850 and 2 of their sons were Jeptha 13 and Jason 9. I'm looking for Jeptha HARRIS, born in 1836 in GA. He enlisted in the CSA in Mississippi. I'm wondering if Jeptha Harrison maybe changed his name to Harris. I know back them a lot of people changed their names (just to confuse us, I think).
