Harrison, 71, of Hammerstone Village died Wednesday, Sept. 9, 1998, at her home following a long illness. Mrs. Harrison was born at the Ferris Camp in Middleburgh on Oct. 2, 1926, a daughter of Claude W. and Louise Belle Loucks Ferris. She was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church, Cobleskill, and a former member of the Atonement Lutheran Church in Oneonta. She also attended the Weslyan Methodist Church in Oneonta, and the Pilgrim Holiness Church in Middleburgh. She performed volunteer work at A.O. Fox Memorial Hospital in Oneonta, was active in Christian Ministry and was interested in the history of Schoharie County. Surviving Mrs. Harrison are her husband, Robert A. Harrison, who she married on April 16, 1949; three sons, the Rev. Mark A. Harrison of Cape Coral, Fla., Lance Harrison of Oneonta, and Bret R. Harrison of Cobleskill; sister, Dolores Greenhalgh of Middleburgh; four grandsons, Matthew Harrison, Brian Harrison, Joel Harrison and Aaron Harrison; and one granddaughter, Jennifer Beth Harrison. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 12, 1998, at the Zion Lutheran Church, Main Street, Cobleskill with the Rev. Mark A. Harrison and the Rev. John Seltzer officiating. Burial will be in Oneonta Plains Cemetery, Oneonta. There are no calling hours. Funeral arrangements are by the Palmer & Shaylor Funeral Home, 63 River St., Middleburgh. ========== Not related, no further details.
