Since they are very close to Washington County this caught my eye. There was two Nathaniels in Blount County and both were from NC. I cannot find any relationship between them, but they are sometimes confused with each other. Both are in the Revolutionary War Pension Applications. The Rockingham County Nathaniel married Elizabeth Brown in Rockingham County, NC.
