Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/jhh.2ACIB/1136.1181.1182.1183.1480.1 Message Board Post: I have just transcribed a cemetery here in Hickory Flat Benton County Mississippi,which is not all that far from the Alabama line and there is a Wm.B.Harrison,b.In South Carolina,d.Jan.15,1851,there is also a Hannah Harrison,b.In the Spartanburg Dist.South Carolina,b.Dec.9,1795,d.Dec 12,1872,they have big nice stones that are very clear. There are other Harrisons and one Newman and a few Phillips in this cemetery also. The name of the cemetery is Pisgah Cemetery. There use to be a church on the site where the cemetery is but it burned years and years ago. You can get in touch with the Benton County Mississippi Gen, Soc. in Ashland Mississippi they should have more information on the church and cemetery. I wrote down and typed exactly what was on the tombstones. Some of the graves sites just have sandstones marking them and this cemetery is very well taken care of and preserved thanks to great and loving people in our community.
