AL about late 1820s, was there until about 1848, then moved to Morehouse Parish, LA. His middle name may have been Ledbetter. His wife was Matilda (Martha?), b abt 1799 SC. They had 10 children in the 1850 census and I have their downline in some detail, but nothing about his father. Anything familiar? There was a Harrison Waite, wife Sara, who moved with the Harrisons and lived near them in both AL and LA.
