    1. [HARRISON] Re: Harrisons of Virginia and Georgia
    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: Harrisons (Columbia Co GA--early 1800's) Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/jhh.2ACIB/1351.1522.1529.1537 Message Board Post: I have recently been researching the Harrison Family around Thomson GA (was Columbia County, early 1800's). We have property in our family on Germany Creek and have evidence that some families resided there, including a cemetary. Is there any info you could share? I have a mortgage deed signed by James J & Augusta C Harrison in 1857. I cannot find more reference materials relating to them. I have various other documents on several Harrisons in the area but can't tie it all together. I am trying to find out about a 7 1/2 year old girl named Caroline Augusta Harrison who died on April 20, 1837, and is buried on our property. Please let me know if you can shed any light on this. I also have other documentation relating to the Harrison's in the area. I would love to share any info about families around the Thomson area.
