Surnames: Harrison, Nicholls Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/jhh.2ACIB/849.882.884.1 Message Board Post: hi im also looking for a james harrison who i belive came from the hampshire area. my james is the father of a basil harrison who was born in brockenhurst, hampshire. looking at a map i can see that wolverton wasnt all that far away and it is possible that our 2 james's may be the same all thou a long shot at the moment. searching through census data for 1861 - 1901 there is a family with james as the head living in brockenhurst with his wife and kids. basil however does not appear on any of these census's despite being born around 1849. im afraid i dont have any more info on my james except a possible birth yr of 1814 which i realise is a bit younger than your james but thought it worth a shot anyway. email me back asap as im going to brockenhurst on friday and so will be trying to locate more info on my james there. sam
