Elizabeth Epps, daughter of Francis Epps (Francis 5-4, William 3, John 2, Francis 1) died 1824. She married Thomas Barker. He died 1818, according to, DESCENDANTS OF FRANCIS EPES I OF VIRGINIA, Vol. II. There are several Harrisons who married Epps. Is there a connection between the Harrisons living in Brunswick County, VA during the early 1800's and the Epps of Prince George County, VA? Thomas Barker, a brother to my ancestor Burwell, bought land from a Mary Harrison, widow of Thomas Harrison. I am wondering if there was more than just a land transaction. Perhaps the Harrisons were related to Elizabeth Epps Barker. Below are notes from a land sale written by Ms. G. Cole, provided by Ms. J. Richards.
