At some point I will probably want to check out what children were still living at the time of the will. I have a list of 7 or 8 children. One person who was not on this list was Jabez Harrison. I'm trying to confirm by some other source, other than Jabez Harrison's obit in IN, that he was in fact a son of Peyton. Because I also show a Jabez Harrison of Madison Co. VA listed as a son in George Harrison's Madison Co. will of 1822, and this Jabez later signed off on the said inheritance. It would be strange if there were two Jabez Harrisons, not exactly a common name, born about the same time and living in the same county. He's not my direct ancestor, but this has long puzzled me.
