Hi Listers! I have been searching for my gg grandfather William (Henry?) Harrison for quite some time now with no success. I have read that he was married to Elizabeth (Unknown), and I have found Elizabeth living with different children in the 1850, 1860 and 1870 census reports in Allegheny Co., PA. Then a few days ago, on the "Historic Pittsburgh" Internet site, I found a reference to a William Henry Harrison, son of James Harrison and Jennie Bell. It says that William Henry married Betsey Grove. Realizing that Betsey could very well be a nickname for Elizabeth, I am wondering if anyone here on this list is researching the family of James and Jennie Bell Harrison. July 19, 1839 +Joseph Dougherty The article that I read said that both William Henry and Betsey Grove are buried in Versailles Cemetery in McKeesport, which is in Versailles Twp., Allegheny Co., PA. I have two different lists of Harrisons that are now interred in the McKeesport & Versailles Cemetery, and they are not listed. Also, I have sent a cousin who lives in the area to the cemetery to hunt for them, and they were not to be found. It appears that William Henry died before 1850, as we can not find him in the census reports. Do any of the above names look familiar to anyone? I would love to hear from you if they do! Nancy M.
