The earliest Harrison I can find is William. Wm married Rebecca Greer in Nelson County, KY in 1804. Rebecca's parents are Samuel and Rebecca Howard Greer. Rebecca Howard is descended from the Howard & Lytle families of Pennsylvania. Two of Rebecca's sisters married Harrison men! William & Rebecca moved to Shelby County, KY where my husbands gggrandfather, John, was born in 1809. They later moved to Jefferson County, KY, where they lived out their lives...in the southern part of the county, near the Bullitt County line! I have heard of Grove Harrison and feel there must be some connection between all these families. Do you know where in VA your Harrisons came from?
