I am looking for information on one of my ancestors name Johnny Harrison. He lived in the Glassy Mountain distict of Greenville County. He was married to Mary "Polly" Tucker. They both were born sometime in the early 1800. They had a daughter named Margaret C. Harrison, who married Stephen Pittman. Does anyone know of a source of information for the Glassy Mountain area of Greenville County, South Carolina? I as yet, have not even been able to find them on a Federal Census report. I understand that happen sometimes, as they might not have been home when he came by, or the census taker may have not been able to find their home. I hope someone can help me with this problem. I do know that this Johnny Harrison DID NOT come to this area from Charleston. Thanks for any help! Ellen
