TN (now Greene Co.) to NANCY JANE BRITTON who was born 1858. They eventually moved to Jackson Co. Alabama. Have a pedigree chart from 1989 stating that James Harrison (b. abt 1809) was his father and Rebecca (b. 1814), his mother were both from Tennessee. I found a comparible chart that said they were Greene County decendants but the son, James Allie, was not the James Harvey Alexander that my gggfather was. So we're back at square one. It might be helpful to know that it is said that Alec's father was either all or part African Amer. We have always been told we are African Amer.,Dutch and Irish. Early family photos show very strong Native American attributes. Any info would be helpful Thanks!
