Guess we are cousins-in-law, but perhaps actually blood kin if your Harrisons & ours connect ! My Grandmother was Lonie Knighton & your husband's ancestor was a Knighton before marrying the VanWonderham. Their father was William PINKNEY Knighton & their grandmother was Mary A. "Polly" HARRISON before marrying Green L. Knighton ! It's quite possible all the Harrisons that lived in Calhoun Co, Alabama were related to our GGGrandmother Mary A. HARRISON Knighton ! Our Harrisons came from Spartanburg Co, SC originally and I know some of GGGrandmother Mary Harrison Knighton's Harrison family moved down to Calhoun Co, Alabama before Mary & Green Knighton did. They moved down in the early 1850's. Would like to know more about your Harrisons, Shirley. We know that GGGrandmother Mary Harrison Knighton had many Aunts & Uncles we have yet to find.
