It is interesting that there are Van Houtens in the family back in 1715 when one married a Doremus. Please let me know if it is the same family. I will reseach this also. All of my info is from typed info that my aunt left to her daughter and passed to me at her death. So know one to validate anything here. I haven't looked in the side to your family yet but that is promising to have more relations and family out there. Lets see where all of this will take us.
