Benjamin Harrison I, your no. 5, was married to Mary, but her maiden name is not stated by major genealogies on the family, such as Gary Boyd Roberts' Ancestors of American Presidents. I have seen this last name Sturger for her, but I don't know what sources it comes from. Does anyone know about this? Secondly, his son, Benjamin Harrison II, was married to Hannah Churchill, not Hannah Harrison.

The Eugenics of PRESIDENT ABRAHAM LINCOLN by James Caswell Coggins, A.M., S.T.D., Ph.D., LL.D., Founder and First President of Atlantic Christian College Wilson, North Carolina and Author shows that Abraham Lincoln was really the bastard child of Nancy Hanks and Abraham ENLOE of North Carolina. But many people in Rutherford County, NC say he was born in a little log cabin that sat beside Puzzle Creek in Bostic, NC. Here we will give proof of this account, by the following. You can read the story below, or listen to Noel Manning tell the complete story. download/stream Genealogy Lincoln Ancestry Challenged http://www.genealogytoday.com/us/lincoln/indpress.html Adapted from an article by Jamie Duffy Berkeley Heights-New Providence Independent Press, February 7, 2001 80 South Street, New Providence, NJ 07974 "Abraham Lincoln was probably about six years older than his faked birth date of Feb. 12, 1809, and no more resembled Thomas Lincoln than his true half-brother, Wesley Enloe, who shares the same ultra-lanky frame inherited from their father (see a photo comparison). These facts are just part of the covered-up truths of Abraham Lincoln's genesis, kept quiet by the president's son, Robert Todd Lincoln, and cooperative biographers who wanted for various reasons to present the "Kentucky Sunday School" versions of Mr. Lincoln's life, according to New Providence resident Robert Vincent Enlow. His sources include writers from a century ago who he says interviewed locals from Rutherford County in North Carolina where Lincoln was really born. Those sources swore they not only saw Nancy Hanks' baby, Abe, but also held him in their arms. For Lincoln history buffs, two of the sources he uses are James H. Cathey, a North Carolinian state legislator who wrote "The Genesis of Lincoln" in 1899, and Dr. James Coggins, president of Atlantic Christian College, who published a work, "Abraham Lincoln, North Carolinian With Proof" in 1927. Mr. Enlow also insists that Lincoln's partner in law, William H. Herndon, was determined to find the truth and traveled many miles throughout Kentucky, Indiana and Illinois to interview those connected with the Lincolns. He should have gone to North Carolina, said Mr. Enlow. Mr. Enlow points to Lincoln's son, Robert Todd Lincoln, as the leader of "the great cover-up." "The political ambitions of Lincoln's son Robert, Secretary of War and mentioned for the presidency, figured in the surveillance and censorship of material for publication. Educated at Harvard, mover in high social circles, he did not want his father's humble beginnings aired in public. Those who would not tinker with or falsify history paid for it with near literary oblivion. They were not welcome at the same table with the 'kid-glove' biographers, many of whom had already cased in and who had plans for further exploitation of this great man. The small segment of the public to whom the genesis truth was known raised little fuss about the cover-up, probably knowing they were vastly out-numbered, and the rest could be expected to be resentful of anything disturbing an image they were comfortable with," Mr. Enlow wrote." continued: Part Two http://www.genealogytoday.com/us/lincoln/abepart2.html "The Abraham Lincoln Genesis Cover-up" or "The Censored Origins of an Illustrious Ancestor." by History researcher R. Vincent Enlow, a New Jersey resident. Mr. Enlow said his published work is the first in 100 years that compares the two traditions, that of Kentucky and North Carolina, although there a have been "oblique references from time to time," he said. He describes the story as a "wilderness drama" that brings to mind characters from a Jerry Springer show, hard to reconcile with the saintly status of Abraham Lincoln. About the Author: The author, now in his 80's, was born in the panhandle of western Maryland. His ancestors there date back to 1670 at the time three Enloe school teacher brothers arrived from Lieth, Scotland. Former marketing executive of Ford Motor International, he introduced the first one-hour television spectacular in Latin America and staged the first Broadway-style automotive shows in the Middle East. He initiated television to the Wall Street Journal, receiving the "Clio" award at the American Television Commercial Festival. Political cartoonist, scupltor and artists, he now resides with his wife in the Watchung Mountains area of central New Jersey. It also mentioned Accomac Co, Virginia which was never allowed to leave the union with Virginia. It is the Peninsula of land on Maryland's Southern border of the Eastern Shore between the Chesapeake and the Atlantic. It mentioned others, too, held by the north. No slaves were freed by the north in any northern held territory. The E.P. didn't go into effect until W. Va was made a state of the union. Other wise they would have had to free all the slaves in northern held territory. More yankee soldiers owned slaves than did Southern soldiers. General Grant owned slaves, profited by their labor while fighting in blue and had two or three of them as footmen. Lots of yankee officers had them, too. Grant's slaves were the last to leave Richmond. When asked why he kept them even after the war ended he stated "good help is hard to find." So many things these intolerant tolerant people either don't know or don't care to know." Rick in Olde Md November 6, 1860 Republican Abraham Lincoln is elected sixteenth President of the United States with Hannibal Hamlin of Maine his Vice-president. Historian David M. Potter in Lincoln and His Party in the Secession Crisis (New Haven, CT: Yale University Press, 1942; reprint, New Haven, CT: Yale University Press, 1979), 189, writes that Lincoln was elected by a Northern sectional minority representing the smallest plurality of popular votes in American history. The loser in the next five presidential elections got more popular votes than Lincoln. Of the total 4,682,069 votes cast, Lincoln received 1,866,452 which is 39.9%. The eighteen states voting for him were all above the Mason/Dixon line. He received no electoral votes in fifteen of the thirty-three states. His name was not even on the ballot in ten Southern states. Lincoln's opponents together totaled 2,815,617 which was almost a million votes more than he got.
