Who was the father of the Benjamin Harrison who made his will in 1789 Brunswick County, Virginia and it was probated in 1790? In his will he names sons Thomas, Benjamin and James and daughters Rita, Harriet, Juditha, Elyn, Rebecca and Mary. He also mention several granddaughters and grandsons. All are burried in Ft. Wayne, Indiana. I can not for the life of me put these Harrisons together--but I believe Edmund is from one of the Long Grey Trail Lines. The McCartys are from the Shenandoah Valley of VA. James Stinson wa with John Sievers troop at the Battle of King's Mt. in North Carolina and received bounty land . So I have early Harrison names in that area . Wish I could be of more help.
