I beleive their maternial grandparents to have been John Leives Martin and Catherine Cutts Currie Martin. They had a step sister Maudie Merrill. I need to know where these people are burried. I'm hoping to fill in some gaps in our family history book. Family bible says Catherine died in East St. Louis Sept 7, 1879 but they were not required to keep records in those days. ( So they said.) Planning an extended stay in Ireland in Oct. and need some leads for our clan. Thanks be for any help one may have. Sincerely!

My Harrison Family came to Tennessee from Rockingham County, NC. Some of this family came very early. My ancestor Landon Harrison came to Davidson County, TN .before 1833. Landon born 1790 was the youngest son of William and Eleanor Harrison. He had brothers John, William, Zachariah, and Starling. They were all born before 1790.Landon was born in NC but Zachariah was born in VA. The father William was born in VA. and his wife Eleanor was born in Maryland. No daughters were listed in his will and no daughters in 1800 or later census. A William Harrison was bondsman for Anna Harrison that married Green Berry and later settled in Sumner County, TN. A William Harrison also deeded land to a Anna Harrison, but there was the older William born c 1730 and died bef 1826. He had sons Nathaniel, John, Jesse, and I think my William who was born before 1755.Nathaniel, Jesse, along with their sister and her husband Charles Baker settled in Greene and Blount Counties of TN. These Harrisons ! all lived very near what is now know as Harrison's Crossroads in Rockingham County, NC.Mary Harrison Gibson MARK CUNNINGHAM <[email protected]> wrote: Hello Everyone, I have Nathaniel Harrison b. abt.1800-1808 d. abt. 1870-1880 Campbell Co.
