Does anyone have any info on a George HARRISON born abt 1810 in MS who was found living in Red River Co, TX in 1880. His wife's name was Francis born abt 1820 In MS. They had a William living with them that was there son. He was born abt 1862 in TX. They also had grandchildren living with them at the time of this enumeration. They were: John born abt 1864 in TX Benjamin born abt 1867 in TX Mary born abt 1869 in TX Brown born abt 1872 in TX Henry born abt 1874 in TX. I have not been able to find George in TX censuses before 1880. This George may be the father of my William R HARRISON who had said he was born in May 1863 in TX with parents born in MS. These are the only people that comes close in the all of TX. If you have any info on George or William, I would appreciate any info or leads you can give me. Thanks in advance for your assistance. He enlisted in the CSA in Mississippi. I'm wondering if Jeptha Harrison maybe changed his name to Harris. I know back them a lot of people changed their names (just to confuse us, I think). Spradling, 88, passed away peacefully on August 5, 2003 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. A long time resident of Albuquerque, Pauline enjoyed going to the movies, fishing, and playing duplicate bridge. In June of 2003, she achieved Golden Age Master bridge player status. Pauline was born in Straight Creek, Kentucky and was one of four daughters of Harry and Edith Harrison. While her first husband, William Spradling, preceded her in death, Pauline is survived by her two children, Stuart Spradling of Colorado Springs and Shirley Fleming of Albuquerque, as well as five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. In addition to being a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, Pauline retired in 1973 from her career as a Printed Circuit Technician for Sandia Laboratory in Albuquerque. She was also a member of the Methodist church. Memorial services will take place Saturday, August 16, 2003, at 10:30 a.m. at French Mortuary- Wyoming Blvd.Chapel.
