I believe that most of his ancestors originated from KY. Most of them from what is called Hatfield, KY. I believe it is in Pike County. I know that Chief Logan Park is named after the Indian Chief Logan. I have been there many times. I live only about 45 minutes from it. My husband was told that he was suppose to be a descendent from Chief Logan. We are not at all sure about this. I have not researched any of this. Got tired of the dead ends I encountered. I wish you luck on your venture. It is not an easy task.
