Santa Claus, Spencer Co., IN 04-15-1875 We, William R Harris and Sarrah Stapp Harris have today sold and bargained to John T Masterson our undivided interest in the estate of John H Harris, Davis Co IA. This document was signed W. R. Harris and Sallie Sapp Harris Sarah or Sallie's middle name is spelled incorrectly several times. One spelling written by her husband who has very good handwriting, Sallie Staff Harris. This document is in the John H Harris prorate file in the courthouse at Davis Co, IA. Hope this can help someone working on John H Harris. If anyone has any info on Jacob and Eliza Jane (Sack) Harris of originally Hardin Co., KY and Davis Co., IA., please post to list or to me directly, whichever you like!
