GOD BLESS AMERICA! Trying to find ancestors & descendents of the Langdale family located in Colleton Co, SC, during the 1800's... My great grandfather, John William Harris, born 1855 in that area...his mother is Elizabeth Langdale, daughter of John Langdale & Jane Guthrie...John William Harris migrated to Sumter Co, FL by the time of the 1880 census... I suspect that William Harris & Celia Roberts Harris are the grandparents of my John William Harris...William & Celia Harris are on the 1850 census for Colleton Co, SC...and then on the 1870 census for Polk Co, FL...
