    3. Can anyone answer the following protracted question and ease my mind? Judge Stephen Willis Harris (b. October 1, 1785, Wilkes County, Georgia - d. September 14, 1827, Eatonton, Putnam County, Georgia) was married to Sarah Herndon Watkins. He was the son of Sampson Harris (b. April 11, 1763, Brunswick County, Virginia - d. 1897, Madison, Morgan County, Georgia) and his wife Susanna Terrel Willis (b. Novmeber 20, 1762, New Kent County, Virginia). Susanna Terrel Willis was the daughter of Stephen Willis and Susanna _______. Judge John Dabney Terrell (b. October 14, 1773, Bedford County, Virginia - d. May 10, 1850, Marion County, Alabama) was married to Lydia Brisco Warren. He was the son of Henry Terrell and his wife Ann Dabney. (Ann Dabney was the daughter of John Dabney and Ann Harris. Ann Harris was the daughter of Robert Harris and Mourning Glenn). Henry Terrell was the son of Joel Terrell and his wife Elizabeth Oxford. One of Henry's sisters was Susannah Terrell, born January 6, 1720/21?) who was married to a Stephen Willis. Are these the same two --- Stephen Willis and Susannah Terrell?? If so, then that connects some of the Harris' in Alabama-Georgia- Virginia. If not, where is my mis-connection and what is the answer? With the name Terrell and Willis being so prominent in these lines, I think (not yet proven) that this has to be the connection. What are your thoughts on this? Any insight is appreciated. Please respond through HH, H-AL, or H-GA so that others may be helped. Ira L. Harris III Evansville, Indiana
