It was located at the present-day intersection of Jefferson Davis Highway (US Route 1) and Cedar Fork Road (C R 601). p. 161... It is know that Elizabeth Harris Terrell, her husband, Samuel Terrell and their son, George Fox Terrell, as well as other members of this family are buried in the graveyard in unmarked graves. ***************** pp. 227-235 The Herring Family Of Henrico and Louisa Counties by Alfred Sumner Winston III p. 233 ".... George Edward Herring was born 08 September 1850. He married Louisa Marie Harris, daughter of Dr. Alexander Harris and Cornelia Martin Harris, on 26 December 1889....... George Edward Herring and Louisa M. Harris Herring had four children: Oscar Alexander, Edwina Harris, Mary Zelia and Frances Carey Herring. There were no marriage records for the first two children in the family Bible. Mary Zelia Herring was married twice. She first married John Cooke and had ten daughters, only two of whom are mentioned in the family Bible. They are Dorothy and Jacqueline Cooke. In her second marriage to Overton Curd Perkins she had one son, Edgar Bowles Perkins. Frances Carey Herring married John Swartz and had two children, Elizabeth Lee and John Hunter Swartz. George Edward Herring died 18 July 1912 in Louisa County and was buried at Spring Valley.
