The marriage bond for Solomon Jefferson Harris and Penelope Lewis from Garrard County, KY, belongs to my husband's great great grandparents.  We have a copy of that marriage bond. William Sublett is Solomon's stepfather. Solomon's father was Solomon Harris (married to Nancy Blackwell, daughter of Sarah Harris and David Blackwell) who died in 1805 when Solomon Jefferson was a baby.  James Harris who married Malinda Collier was Solomon Jefferson Harris's oldest brother. Malinda was the first of his four wives.  James had many, many children. James and Solomon Jefferson had a brother, Robert, who didn't marry (I don't believe) and a sister, Sally, who married Levy Parnell. James, Robert and Solomon J. Harris went to Missouri. Sally stayed in KY. Penelope's mother, Elizabeth Lewis, remarried to Jesse/Chester Agee and had four more children. Nancy Blackwell and William Sublett had five children. Liz Craven
