Ira and others, Notes I have on Tyree Harris named in will below: Tyree Rodes Harris, b. March 15, 1765 in Albemarle Co., VA., d.1841 in Garrard Co., KY. Son of Robert Harris and Lucretia Brown of Albemarle Co., VA and later Surry Co., NC. Tyree's first wife was Sophy Herd. Second wife was Rachel Brown. Christopher Harris of neighboring Madison Co., KY was Tyree's uncle. Children of this marriage were Josephine C., Greenberry, Russell A., Arabia J., Overton Dabney, and Martha Tyree (her middle name). All were born in Garrard Co., KY I believe. Children with first wife were John Wesley, Susan, Brightberry, Elizabeth, Ann, and Elijah. Thompson Harris below is not a brother of Tyree but may be related to the same family.
