Does anyone have any information concerning Samuel HARRIS b. 1763 in Nine Partners Patent, Dutchess Co., NY. Samuel, his wife and seven of his eight children came to live with the Shakers (The United Society of Believers) in Pleasant Hill, Mercer Co., KY in 1806 where Samuel died in 1852. According to a bible record, Samuel may have been one of the founding fathers of this Society at Pleasant Hill. I am trying to establish a connection between Samuel, his son William HARRIS and William P. HARRIS who may have been Samuel's grandson. William P. HARRIS is found in Lawrence, Richland and Clay counties Illinois between 1839 and 1888. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Lynn Symeon
