    2. Ira and all-- I believe part of the census below is incorrect. I think all these Harris' are actually IN Randolph Co. but the post office locales are incorrect--they are in Delta post office area but Troy is in Pike Co. in South Alabama. I noticed when I first found these folks in Genealogy.com that it was listed as Pike Co but the actual census page said Randolph Co. I mention this because the Andy and Washington Harris here we believe are the connection to my husbands' Harris'--These 2 are listed in 1860 Randolph County as living with Mark and Mary Harris of S.C. and are listed as Andrew J. and George W. In 1850 Randolph Co. we find Mark, Mary and sons Elijah, Andrew and daughter Martha. I am not positive these are all the same people because all I have is census info. I hope I have not confused everyone further but as you all know Harris research can be confusing at times! Any additions or corrections welcome.
