Liz, I am curious about your Hypatia. I have a Hypatia in my database. She is the daughter of John Turpin Harris and his wife Rebecca Britton. She is the grandaughter of John Jordan Harris and Anne Obedience Turpin. She is part of the line that goes back to a Thomas Harris and his wife Youette. The Hypatia Harris I have was born February 15, 1798 and died August 7, 1818. She was married twice: to an unknown Spouse and to Colin McRae. Hypatia and her parents were in the area of Cumberland County, Powhatan County, and Chesterfield County, Virginia. I was wondering if your Hypatia might be related to the above family.
