    3. ELIZABETH ELENOR HARRIS, daughter of Jonathan W. Harris and Abigail C. CRACROFT was born in 1827 in Richland County, Ohio. She went with her parents to Sauk County, Wisconsin, where she married Hamilton WELLS October 17, 1849 by whom she had four children, all born in Sauk County. Mrs. Wells is a very ambitious and energetic woman, a character of the Harris family; is a member of the Methodist Episcopal Church and lives at Pipe Stone, Minnesota, at the present writing, in 1887. 1. John Willis Wells b. 3 Feb 1851 2. Henry Harris Wells b. 19 Jne 1854 3. Charles Edwin Wells b. 17 Dec 1858 4. Mary Abigail Wells b. 27 May 1864 JOHN WILLIS WELLS, son of Hamilton Wells and Elizabeth E. Harris was born in Sauk County in 1851 where he grew to manhood and married Emma HEFFEL of Logansville, Wisconsin by whom he has had three sons. Mr Wells is a farmer by occupation, and lives in Pipe Stone, Minnesota at this writing in 1886. 1. Frank Wells b. 9 Sep 1874 2. Freddy Wells b. 7 Aug 1877 3. Earl Wells b. 24 Dec 1881 HENRY HARRIS WELLS, son of Hamilton WELLS and Elizabeth E. Harris was born in Sauk County in 1859 married Adda CHAPMAN of Beloit, Wisconsin 8 March 1876 by whom he has had three children. Mr Wells was a brakeman on the North-Western Railroad, and lived at Baradoo, Sauk County, in 1885. 1. Kitty Mae Wells b. 16 May 1877 d. 4 Dec 1881 2. Charles Albert Wells b. 19 Nov 1878 d. 7 Dec 1882 3. Harry Wells b. 14 Jan 1883 CHARLES EDWIN WELLS, son of Hamilton Wells and Elizabeth E. Harris was born in Sauk County in 1858 where he grew to manhood. He married Pette KESTER of Reedburgh, Sauk Co. Wisconsin 24 Dec 1885 and went to Pipestone, Minnesota where they lived for a time.
