PHEBE ANN HARRIS, daughter of Jonathan W. Harris and Abigail C. CRACROFT was born in Richland County, Ohio in 1823. In 1846 she went with her parents to Sauk County, Wisconsin. She became acquainted with, and married James A. TAYLOR 4 March 1847 by whom she had five children. They lived in various places in Wisconsin including Sauk Prairie, Troy, Emmettburg, and Charles City in Iowa. They finally settled in Spring Green, Wisconsin where Mr. Taylor took sick and died 24 Feb 1884. He was buried in the Spring Green cemetery. TAYLOR and Phebe Ann Harris was born in Sauk County. She taught school for some years. She married Frank B. DAVISON 16 December 1869 by the Reverand William IRISH of the Methodist Episcopal Church. They had two children. They moved to Grant County, Wisconsin where they lived until the death of Mr. Davison 29 March 1884. He was buried in Spring Green. Mrs. Davison returned to Spring Green where she lived until 1884 when she removed to Spencer, Clay Co. Iowa where she was last living in 1886. 1. John Arthur Davison b. 18 Apr 1873 2. Rosa Dell Davison b. 8 Feb 1875 ALLEN WHEELER TAYLOR, son of James A. Taylor and Phebe Ann Harris was born in Sauk County in 1851. He married Sarah J. (Kitty) YOUNG daughter of David B. Young and Louisa MERRIHEW. They were married in Illinois by William CLARK 27 March 1872. They had one son. They removed to Emmettsburgh, Iowa where he went into the wagon making business with his brother Charles E. Taylor. He then went to Spencer, Iowa and engaged in farming. 1. Albert Leroy Taylor b. 6 Jly 1880 CHARLES ELMORE TAYLOR, son of James A. Taylor and Phebe A. Harris was born in 1854 in Sauk County. He was in the wagon making business in Emmettsburgh, Iowa with his brother, Allen. He married Sarah MORGAN of Spring Green 23 Jan 1879. They have one child. 1. Alma Irene Taylor b. 8 Nov 1879 FLORENCE DELLA TAYLOR, daughter of James A. Taylor and Phebe A. Harris was born in Sauk County in 1862. She taught school for a while and then decided she wanted to be study medicine. She studied under Dr. J.B. STAIR and entered the Medical College of Chicago and graduated with honor.
