    3. Richard, Your post caught my interest, since we are still in search of William Harris (b. 1798 PA)' lineage. Washington County is not near to Wayne County, PA, I realize, but one never knows--he may have travelled north as an adult, found his wife (Betsey Sharp), and decided to stay where her family was in Wayne. Do you have any thoughts on Mary Harris Mustard's parents? I see that William is a common given name in the next generation, a few times over, so that is encouraging... thanks for your thoughts on the matter Holly Harris Jagger Binghamton NY

Sept. 3, 1796 Coventry, RI, widow of John Gordon Dorrance (she had 4 children with John: Sarah, Andrew, Alla May and John) Hannah's parents were Richard Edwards and Mary ? ch. Elisha Gordon Harris b. April 21, 1831, Brooklyn, CT. d. Mar. 16, 1906, Whitewater, WI. m. Mar. 9, 1859 in E. Greenwich, RI to Rebecca Olin Millard b. Jan. 25, 1842 Rebecca's parents were William Bowen Millard and Etherline Edwards ch. Ida Hattie Harris b. June. 6, 1872 Whitewater, WI m. John Henry Noyes b. June 15, 1868 in Albion, Oswego, NY I have a death certificate for Elisha (b. 1798) but I can't find his parents or a birth record for him. Maybe someone recognizes the family?
